30-minute guided tours through the flight aviary are available at no extra cost, regularly throughout the day.

The tour also takes in a visit to the engine room of the butterfly sanctuary, our caterpillars breeding nursery. Here you’ll see the caterpillars in their various stages of development and also get to see where some of our newly emerged butterflies “hang out” before being released into the main aviary. The tour concludes back in the butterfly flight aviary after which you are welcome to stay as long as you like and enjoy the butterflies on your own.
